BookMyShow to sell IPL tickets exclusively for four franchises

Ticketing platform gets CSK, KKR, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals on board.

BookMyShow said it will focus on engaging with cricket fans across various online and offline campaigns throughout the 12th edition of IPL, which is scheduled to kick off on March 23.
MUMBAI: India’s leading ticketing platform BookMyShow (BMS) has tied up with four teams of the Indian Premier league (IPL) as their exclusive ticketing partner, allowing the platform to corner 50% of the entire ticket inventory for IPL 2019.

As part of the deal, BMS will start selling tickets of home matches of reigning champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals. Registrations for tickets to home boys Mumbai Indians' games will go live today with public ticket sales kick-starting March 9.
