Amazon Transportation Services sees revenues of Rs 996 cr in FY17
BENGALURU: Amazon Transportation Services, the logistics arm of Amazon India, saw revenues for FY17 rise by 60% to Rs 996 crore, from Rs 621 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Losses for the entity increased to Rs 16 crore from Rs 9 crore. The entity saw a significant increase in delivery expenses to Rs 594 crore from Rs 327 crore.

Amazon has also steadily expanded its warehouse network in the country much more aggressively than its rivals.
