Every one in three purchases during the Diwali festive season was done online, as per a report by Visa.

Indian shoppers spent Rs 153 billion ($2.1 billion) during the Diwali shopping season, with credit card spend growing faster than debit card year on year, also comprising half of the total spend, as per Visa’s analysis.
