Netmeds to open 10 stores in Chennai

BENGALURU: Netmeds, the healthcare ecommerce portal, is venturing into the brick-and-mortar space with the opening of 10 physical stores in Chennai. The company plans start off with Chennai and gradually expand its offline reach to other metro cities in the country.

Netmeds is an online pharmacy that offers customers both medicines and other healthcare products through its online portal, mobile application and customer care call centres.

The physical stores will operate under the same brand name. Netmeds will invest around Rs 15 lakhs-Rs 20 lakhs to set up the physical stores, which will be located in the high demand markets of Chennai.
