MyNoticePeriod's new business model gets rebranded as Hiree.com

Apart form the name change, Hiree would now also cater to professionals who were either on a sabbatical, or just moved out of their jobs and are not on a notice period.

BENGALURU: Online recruitment startup myNoticePeriod has rebranded itself as Hiree.com and tweaked its business model to reach out to a larger base beyond candidates on notice period.

“The larger problem we are trying to solve is to get active job seekers and not necessarily target only notice period employees,“ said Manjunath Talwar, cofounder of myNoticePeriod. “We tried this out a month ago and since then we are seeing about 50% of non-notice period profiles on our platform,“ he added.

Hiree will still maintain its differentiation in terms of listing only active job seekers. However, it will expand its job seeker base to accommodate people on a sabbatical, or the ones who just moved out from a job and are not necessarily on notice, or people who are willing to join immediately.

“There will be key information like their joining date, expectations, offers in hand and core skills, that will equip recruiters with enough data to take right decisions,“ said co-founder Abhijit Khasnis.

One-year-old Hiree helps recruiters reduce the hiring lead time and improve efficiency while providing an opportunity to job seekers to get a better offer than the one they hold.

Hiree claims it has about 165,000 active job seekers and 12,000 registered recruiters on its portal.

For job seekers the service remains free and for employers the company will continue to provide a subscription based model.

In February, the Bengaluru based company raised Rs 18 crore from IDG Ventures India in Series A funding.
