Mumbai-based craft beer maker White Owl Brewery raises Rs 10 crore from angel investors
NEW DELHI: Mumbai-based craft beer maker White Owl Brewery has raised Rs 10 crore from angel investors, including Amit Patni Group's family office RAAY and Arihant Patni, to fund its expansion. The company plans to expand its craft beer products to numerous restaurants and bars in Mumbai and eventually through traditional retail channels across India.

"We're expanding our capacity across Maharashtra for now and after Mumbai we'll be looking at Pune as a market. Our focus will be on tap beer supplies to other restaurants," Javed Murad, founder of White Owl Brewery, told ET.

All the capital is for supply side of things for the company , he said. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Murad launched White Owl with his friend Kunjan Chikhlikar, a graduate of Wharton School.
