MobiKwik appoints of Daman Soni as its vice president for growth

Mobile wallet company MobiKwik announced the appointment of Daman Soni as its vice president for growth. In this new role, Soni will be heading the growth function and will be responsible for achieving the company's user growth targets. He will also support the marketing function at company.

Soni holds an MBA degree from ISB Hyderabad and has done his Engineering from NIT Rourkela.

Prior to joining MobiKwik, he was heading the Indian market for the Line suite of apps and was responsible for strategy, growth, marketing and developing unique offerings for the company. In his previous assignments, he headed telecom Business Development for Infosys in UK.

He was also associated with North Indian states for Nokia and co-founded a company in the education space and another start up in the content and media space.
