BENGALURU: The Karnataka government's Centre for E-governance is giving startups an opportunity to reach out to a big customer base by opening up its mobile governance platform, M-One, to them.

M-One, an application that has been downloaded by about 150,000 users and seen over 12.5 million hits, already has private startups like Intoit, ApnaCare, VakilSearch, Practo, Meru and Ola cabs on board. Now, the app is being scaled up and opened to other startups that want to use it to expand their market.

"We have called for an expression of interest from anybody who wants to develop an application that can work on our platform," Rathan U Kelkar, CEO of Centre for E-governance, told ET.
