IIM Trichy hosts lecture on challenges faced by women entrepreneurs

Garg is the founder of www.ghoomophiro.com, a startup that helps in curating corporate tours. The lecture was organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of IIMT. Garg highlighted the ground realities and societal perceptions regarding women entrepreneurs. She spoke about the importance of family support and the ease of access to funding. Speaking from her own experiences, Garg said, "I always wanted to be my own boss and loved travelling. I do what I love and get to share it with others every day of my life."
She added that a management course was the best platform to develop and hone ideas, test them and get them out into the market. The highlight of the evening was the launch of the book ' Super Women,' authored by the speaker. The book features life stories of 20 women entrepreneurs who fought against all odds to emerge successful. Students received a signed copies of the book.
