BENGALURU: Delhi-based growX ventures has led a $500,000 (Rs 3.34-crore) seed round for i2e1, a smart network layer platform, which aims to provide low-cost internet to consumers and actionable analytics to providers, reports J Vignesh.

The money will be used for scaling operations and strengthening data analytics, said Satyam Darmora, cofounder of i2e1.

Apart from growX ventures, the seed round also saw participation from angel investors such as Mohandas Pai, Sameer Mahandru, Rajan Pandhare, Debasish Mitter and Singapore Angels.

IIT-Delhi, where i2e1 was incubated, is also a shareholder in the company.
