THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Healthcare startup Inforich Technology Solutions has decided to expand its business to the Middle East and African countries.


As part of this, the city-based company has already opened an office in Saudi Arabia to provide IT solutions to the healthcare service sector, a company release said today.

Inforich specialises in providing applications and cloud based solutions to hospitals, especially in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), which are a soft copies of patients' medical record in an electronic form.

It contains patients' all past and present medical information combined in a digital format that makes it easier to use than paper records.Inforich has turned EMR into a card-based format for its customers.

"Interoperability has been a real challenge in the healthcare industry for long time. We are coming up with a solution which can create a drastic change in health data exchange scenario with our slogan of data fluidity with data security," said Vinod Sasi, Technical founder, InfoRich Technology Solutions.

Nishant Nambiar, CEO, Inforich said the global market for healthcare solutions was bright, especially for Indian IT ventures on account of their reliability and cost effectiveness.

Currently, Inforich is working on offline and online EHR system which helps doctors and patients have all medical information available on fingertips irrespective of the location, the release added.
