The country’s startup ecosystem witnessed 100% growth in the number of PE, venture capitalists, angel investors, along with a 125% growth in funding.

Capital inflow in Indian startups touches new high, witnesses 100% growth
Capital inflows in to the Indian startup ecosystem continues to touch new highs, according to an annual report released by industry lobbying body Nasscom on Tuesday. According to the report titled, "Startup India – Momentous Rise of the Indian Startup Ecosystem" released in partnership with consultancy Zinnov, the country’s startup ecosystem witnessed 100% growth in the number of private equity, venture capitalists, angel investors, along with a 125% growth in funding in 2015, compared to the year-ago period.
