Astarc Ventures invests Rs 6 crore in JBR Interio Technologies

HYDERABAD: Mumbai-based Astarc Ventures has invested Rs 6 crore in online home decor startup JBR Interio Technologies, which provides an automated platform for interior design called Renderology.

This is the first investment by the seed fund arm of automotive solutions provider Astarc Group, which announced a corpus of $2 million earlier this year that will be increased to $10 million in the future.

JBR Interio had earlier raised Rs 10 crore in Series-A round from housing focused PE firm Brick Eagle, which had indicated an additional tranche of Rs 30 crore in the follow-on round. Moving away from the B2B model as envisioned by Brick Eagle, JBR Interio will launch its B2C platform in June 2015, and is exploring tie-ups with vendors as well.
