Anand Chandrasekaran joins Mavin's board
Anand Chandrasekaran, former chief product officer of Snapdeal, has joined the board of Mountain View, California-headquartered startup Mavin, a mobile engagement and loyalty marketplace which has a sales and support office in Bengaluru.

Mavin, founded in 2013 by Shailesh Nalawadi, a former Google executive, and Raina Kumra, who has worked with the US Federal Reserve, have created an enterprise level mobile data wallet solution.

This helps app developers and publishers grow and monetise their platform and provide mobile incentives to users. In 2015, the company had launched Gigato, a data sponsoring application that reimburses users for data spent on partner apps, a move that could potentially make surfing cheaper.
