“I am happy about the timing of this funding round as we can now ramp up and mobilise even more people, not just in Mumbai,” said Goel, an IIT-Bombay graduate.

The Mumbai-based firm, whose platform went live in 2014, addresses what is known as the “grey area” segment in job market, covering entrylevel jobs such as data-entry operators and telemarketers.“I am happy about the timing of this funding round as we can now ramp up and mobilise even more people, not just in Mumbai,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Dinesh Goel, an IIT-Bombay graduate.
Aasaanjobs was launched in 2013 by Goel and a group of IIT-Bombay alumni after quitting their jobs at companies like Boston Consulting Group and Deutsche Bank.
