To mark World MSME Day, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will launch a new generation of digital platforms and initiatives on Saturday aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of India's MSME ecosystem, improving ease of doing business, and expanding market access for small enterprises.

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will preside over the 'MSME Day 2026 – Udyami Bharat' event in New Delhi on Saturday. The event will also be attended by Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje, KVIC Chairman Manoj Goel, and senior officials from the Ministry and its affiliated organisations.

Observed annually on June 27, World MSME Day recognises the vital contribution of MSMEs to economic growth, innovation, employment generation, exports, and inclusive development. This year's celebrations will highlight the government's focus on building a resilient, technology-driven, globally competitive, and future-ready MSME sector.

The Vice President will launch a suite of digital platforms, portals, and publications designed to simplify business processes, improve access to finance and markets, and enhance service delivery for MSMEs.

PMEGP 2.0 Portal
The upgraded Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) 2.0 Portal introduces several citizen-centric and technology-driven features to streamline the entire beneficiary lifecycle. Integrated with the Jan Samarth Portal, it enables real-time information exchange with participating banks for faster loan processing, sanction, and disbursement. The portal aims to create a fully digital, transparent, and accountable enterprise promotion ecosystem.

SAMADHAAN 2.0 Portal
The SAMADHAAN 2.0 Portal has been developed to monitor and track outstanding payments owed to MSMEs by Central Ministries, Departments, Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), and other government agencies. The platform enables mandatory monthly reporting of pending dues within prescribed timelines, strengthening payment transparency and accountability.

Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) Portal
The PMS Portal is an integrated digital platform that connects micro and small enterprises with trade fairs and exhibitions. Linked to Udyam Registration, it digitises the entire process—from application and participation to reimbursement claims—making it paperless, transparent, and efficient while improving market outreach.

MSME Global Mart 2.0
Integrated with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), MSME Global Mart 2.0 is a next-generation digital commerce and trade facilitation platform that enables MSMEs across the country to connect with buyers and business opportunities in domestic as well as international markets.

The initiative will provide incubation, mentorship, and growth support in line with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.

As part of its digital inclusion initiative, the Ministry has introduced multilingual and voice-enabled access across its websites and portals in collaboration with BHASHINI and the National Informatics Centre (NIC). MSME services will now be available in all 22 Scheduled Indian languages, supported by AI-enabled voice grievance redressal and document translation facilities.
