'Spirit of Manufacturing' award to be presented at TiEcon to highlight importance of manufacturing

To applaud and acknowledge innovation in the manufacturing sector, Power2SME and TiE Delhi NCR will host the annual 'Spirit of Manufacturing' award during TiEcon next month. The award aims to encourage and showcase startup entrepreneurs in the manufacturing domain.

The awards, to be presented on October 16, will highlight the importance of the manufacturing sector and the need for innovation in this space. Nominations for the same is open till September 15, and any enterprise (less than 10 years in operations) across varied domains of the manufacturing industry can apply.

The companies would be required to highlight the innovation in their organization and how it has helped the company to carve a differentiated positioning. The applications will undergo two rounds of robust evaluation leading to the declaration of the finalists. "The theme of the ceremony is in sync with ‘Make in India’ campaign and we aim to showcase the ‘Made in India’ success stories, that are lesser known to the outside world," says R Narayan, founder and CEO, Power2SME.
