Small scale units facing Rs 2 crore production loss daily

ERODE: Small scale industries are facing a production loss of Rs two crore daily, a district representative of the Traders Association has said.

"We are facing six hour undeclared power cut a day, and due to this SSIs are facing Rs 2 crore production loss daily," N Sivanesan, Chairman of the All Traders Associations in Erode district, told reporters.

He appealed to Government to grant subsidy to the SSIs for installing gensets and solar power systems.
