SICOP signs MoU with ACPGCS over Pashmina procurement in Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU: In a boost to Pashmina trade, Jammu and Kashmir Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Limited (SICOP) has decided to undertake procurement of Raw Pashmina for its onwards sale to the artisans.

"SICOP signed a Memorandum of Understanding with All Changthang Pashmina Growers Co-operative Society, ( ACPGCS) Leh for procurement of Raw Pashmina and its onwards sale to the artisans", an official spokesman said.

Chairman-cum-CEC LAHDC, Rigzin Spalbar Chairman, ACPGCS, Leh was also present on the occasion.
