Punjab to launch Rs 1,100 crore special scheme for SME

MUKTSAR: Punjab Industry Minister Madan Mohan Mittal today said the state government will soon launch a Rs 1,100 crore special scheme for small and medium enterprises with the Centre's sharing in the outlay.

The minister further said that the state government would also make efforts to uplift the traditional industrial clusters of steel at Mandi Gobindgarh, hosiery at Ludhiana and sports goods at Jalandhar.
