Prozo launches largest 1.1 lakh sq. ft. fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi, strengthening supply chain presence

Bhiwandi: Prozo, India’s leading full-stack supply chain company, has strengthened its Maharashtra footprint with the launch of a new 1.1 lakh sq. ft. fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi. The facility is Prozo’s largest in Bhiwandi region and takes the company’s Western India network to 10 fulfilment centres, covering a combined area of 7.1 lakh sq. ft.

Located within Bhiwandi’s established warehousing and logistics cluster, the facility is strategically positioned along the Mumbai-Nashik corridor, providing access to Mumbai as well as key markets across western and central India. Its proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Eastern Express Highway and Samruddhi Expressway further supports efficient movement of goods across regional and national distribution networks.

The expansion comes amid sustained demand for warehousing capacity across the Mumbai region. According to Vestian, Mumbai recorded 5.04 million sq. ft. of warehousing absorption in Q2 2026, the highest among Indian markets, with the Bhiwandi corridor accounting for nearly 69% of the city’s total absorption. Mumbai and Pune together accounted for 65% of national warehousing absorption during the quarter, up from 33% a year earlier, while third-party logistics operators accounted for the largest share of occupier demand.

The new centre will operate on the enterprise-grade standards of Prozo’s national fulfilment network and will be supported by its proprietary Control Tower technology stack, enabling real-time inventory visibility, omni-channel orchestration, operational monitoring, and safety and compliance management. The facility will support existing clients expanding their Maharashtra operations while providing additional capacity for new brands onboarding onto Prozo’s multi-client fulfilment network. The expansion further strengthens Prozo’s ability to offer flexible warehousing and fulfillment solutions to brands operating across multiple channels and distribution formats.
