A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Draft Diagnostic Study Report on Cooperatives in NCT of Delhi, prepared by NABARD with technical support from NABCONS. The report outlines a roadmap for strengthening governance, improving institutional viability, accelerating digital transformation, and promoting inclusive growth through cooperatives. Major recommendations include the establishment of a Project Management Unit (PMU), strengthening regulatory and governance frameworks, capacity building of cooperative institutions, revival of viable cooperatives, and promotion of next-generation cooperative models for women, youth, and informal sector workers.
