GST: Intuit sees customer base double in next few years
BENGALURU: Intuit, the online accounting software provider, has seen strong growth since the launch of the goods and services tax and could see its customer base in the country double in the next few years.

GST, the biggest reform in indirect taxes launched in July, is leading small-and-medium sized businesses to bring in accounting software to manage their invoices and calculate taxes.

Intuit launched it GST-ready QuickBooks software in July.

“Everybody can use the online portal for the tax and we are seeing people who used to keep accounts in physical form start using the software. GST is a catalyst for the business,“ Nikhil Rungta, managing director of Intuit India, said.
