ET Make in India SME Regional Summit to debut in Raipur on October 30

Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, is set to host its first ET Make in India SME Regional Summit on October 30, 2025. The city has its stronghold in mineral-based industries like steel, iron and cement. It also serves as a major commercial hub for agriculture, agro-processing, forest products, and solar energy.



The city has become an attractive hub for micro, small and medium businesses. Its excellent rail connectivity, reliable electricity supply, and ample water resources create a favourable investment environment. At the same time, the state’s new investment policy offers special benefits to industries employing over 1,000 local people, particularly in the textile and clothing sector.

The Summit will begin with a keynote address on the topic ‘The Chhattisgarh growth story: Empowering MSMEs for Viksit Bharat’. It will be delivered by Manoj Mohan Sinha , Deputy General Manager, NSIC Raipur.

There will be an exclusive fireside chat with a representative of IDBI Bank on the topic “Catalysing ‘Make in India’ Growth: IDBI Bank’s Strategic Imperatives for Empowering MSMEs.”

This will be followed by an engaging panel discussion on the topic ‘Inclusive industrialisation: Empowering MSMEs across the value chain.’ The panellists here include Ashwin Garg, President, Urla Industries Association; Yash Agrawal, Founder and CEO, Gimbooks; and Akash Agrawalla, Co-founder, Zoff Foods.

This will be followed by an entreprenur fireside chat with Shuubhika Jain, Founder, RAS Luxury Skincare on the topic- Made in India, Loved by the World: Building a Global Luxury Brand from the Heart of India.

The SME summit will also serve as a platform providing networking opportunities to local small businesses and industry leaders. They can engage, connect, and have an open dialogue.

This endeavour will be conducted under the theme of ‘Empowering MSMEs: Driving India’s Century of Sustainable Growth’ to champion, acknowledge, and fortify the Indian MSME sector. Each summit will comprise a diverse array of discussions and sessions, including panel discussions, masterclasses, and showcases of MSME solutions.

This is the third annual edition of the ET Make in India Regional Summit series. In its inaugural year, the programme covered Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The previous edition expanded its reach to 16 cities. This edition will cover 20 cities, including Thane, Nagpur, Nashik, Kochi and Baroda.
