25-day entrepreneurship development programme from February 1
COIMBATORE: An Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) is being conducted by the Ahmedabad-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India in association with the city-based Entrepreneurship Development Cell, PSGCAS and FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO).

The 25-day programme, sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, will be held during February one to February 29, at PSG College of Arts and Science, here.

Eligible candidates will receive training to start an enterprise and interested candidates who have completed Under graduation/Diploma and are between 21 years to 35 years can apply for the training programme, which is given free of cost, local FLO chair Lakshmi Ramachandran said in a release today.

Training will be given in identifying business opportunities, preparation of business plan and schemes of financial assistance.

Guidance will be provided to the trainees in fulfilling procedural formalities in setting up an enterprise, the release said.
