YouTube to set up India's first pop-up Space in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: YouTube has announced setting up India's first pop-up Space in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City, providing access to high-end sets and equipment to YouTube creators, in a bid to support the growing community of independent YouTube creators.

YouTube pop-up Space will also provide training on production fundamentals and strategies, apart from hands-on workshops to help independent creators to improve their presence on Google and YouTube.

Terming that the new facility will empower an emerging breed of young local language YouTube creators, Lance Podell, global head of YouTube Spaces, said, “India has a dynamic content creator ecosystem and we're excited to bring the benefits of YouTube Space to creators in emerging creative talent hubs like Hyderabad through a pop up format.“
