Western Railway has partnered with Fun Solar, a non-profit company, to instal solar-powered charging kiosks at stations. WR chief spokesperson Ravinder Bhakar said, “The kiosks have been installed at 15 stations, including Churchgate, Grant Road, Mumbai Central, Andheri, Borivli, Vasai, Boisar and Palghar. We plan to instal them at 5 more stations.”

Commuters can charge their phone free of cost at the 24x7 kiosks.
