Wipro invests undisclosed amount in automated testing co Tricentis
BENGALURU: Wipro said its venture capital arm had made a strategic investment in automated testing company Tricentis as part of a partnership to boost its quality engineering business.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company said it would integrate Tricentis’ continuous testing platform, with Wipro AssureNXT platform. The combination would also include the capabilities of Wipro’s HOLMES artificial intelligence platform.

“We believe that clients will see this partnership as a game changer as the two prominent leaders in the industry get together to create a truly disruptive proposition for continuous testing,” Hiral Chandrana, Senior Vice President, Business Application Services, Wipro Limited, said in a statement. “It will help them drive speed in their business while bringing effectiveness and experience to their automation journey, through the powerful combination of Wipro AssureNXT, Wipro HOLMES and Tricentis Tosca.”

The statement did not disclose the terms of Wipro’s investment.
