SaaS company Omnify raises Rs 97 lakh
BENGALURU: Omnify, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for small service businesses to enable ecommerce, has raised $150,000 (Rs 96.89 lakh) from Google India MD Rajan Anandan, Shoogloo Group CEO LD Sharma and Airwoot cofounder Saurabh Arora.

A few investors also joined through Let'sVenture platform. Omnify provides a unified platform for small service businesses to enable ecommerce, scheduling and communication with their customers. It provides a website, booking system, payment processing, scheduling and customer management.The company plans to use the funds raised to enhance its technology stack. "Omnify is seeing solid traction. This is a very lean, tech nical team that knows how to growth hack," said Anandan.

Fitness, recreation and sports are currently the biggest segments for the startup. Omnify is used by more than 850 businesses and over 1,600 professionals in around 56 countries, the company said in a statement. "Our customers can start selling and transacting in minutes of signing up," said Kabandi Saikia, cofounder of Omnify.

"Payments are also an important part of our business model as we charge a small fee on every transaction." Omnify was founded by Saikia and Manik Mehta in 2016.
