​Set up in 2015, the company had raised a seed round of $2.3 million last year.

MyGubbi raises $2.7 million in pre-series A round now
PUNE: Home interiors startup MyGubbi has raised $2.7 million in pre-series A funding in a round led by the family office of Firoze Irani; Vipul Parekh, cofounder of BigBasket; Ananda Kallugadde, cofounder of NeoBytes; and Rajesh K Murthy, president of Infosys, among others.

Set up in 2015, the company had raised a seed round of $2.3 million last year. Umesh Sangurmath, cofounder, MyGubbi, told ET that the funds would be deployed primarily to wards growing the business.

"We would look at going deeper into existing markets, as well as strengthen our backend. We are also setting up a of excellence in design centre of excellence in Bengaluru, which is where these funds would be deployed," Sangurmath said.
