HYDERABAD: Telehealth company Healthenablr India Pvt Ltd has raised Rs 5.5 crore in seed round from a group of high net-worth individuals based in Silicon Valley, Hong Kong and Mumbai.

Co-founded by Bamasish Paul, former senior vice president of PE firm Brookfield Asset Management, the platform for doctor and diagnostic services discovery will utilise the capital for marketing and expanding the team.

“Currently we have a network of 5000 doctors mainly in Mumbai and Kolkata and these two cities will be our focus for the next six months. We plan on raising another small round by the mi of this year to take the platform to other cities,” said Bamasish Paul.
