HYDERABAD: TinMen, a meal delivery startup from Hyderabad, has raised undisclosed funds from boutique investment bank MAPE Advisory Group, Sify cofounder R Ramaraj and Mahesh Reddy-led Corvus Ventures.

Existing seed investor Lead Angels also participated in the round. The firm plans to use the funds raised for marketing, building the team and expanding services to other cities. Launched in August 2015, TinMen offers home-made meals to professionals that are delivered at home and workplace. "We provide home-cooked meals, which make it affordable and something that can be eaten every day," Degala told ET.

"Since the meals are pre-booked, we are able to make multiple deliveries in one go, thereby saving on expenses." TinMen had raised a seed round of funding in January last year and claims to have grown five times since then.
