NEW DELHI: Online fast-food delivery marketplace Dudleys is planning to raise funds of $1.5 million to fuel expansion of its all-night foods delivery business, co-founder Chetan Kaul said.

Kaul said, "Typically, for the night delivery business, ticket sizes increase by the evening, as Indian consumers tend to spend more on dinner than lunch. They prefer to spend on healthier, working lunches, while dinners are indulgence meals."

While the night delivery is unregulated, the business model is growing rapidly. Kaul said Gurgaon alone has 200-300 all-night delivery options now. "The business model is challenging, but logistically, it is an easier business to operate in," he said.

The burger chain said it has expanded its business with another brand - Pan Pan – for pizza and pasta-based cuisines.
