Bot detection platform InfiSecure raises $600,000 in seed funding
BENGALURU: InfiSecure, a realtime bot detection and protection platform, has raised $600,000 in seed funding from IDG Ventures and Axilor Ventures, the startup said on Wednesday. Launched in March, InfiSecure sanitises a website's traffic and improves business metrics using a software-as-a-service ( SaaS) solution.

"There cannot be a more relevant time for InfiSecure's bot protection platform than now, when bots constitute more than half of the global internet traffic," said Abhilash Pandey, founder of InfiSecure.

With the funds raised, the company plans to invest more in research and global business development and focus on technology innovation to cover more aspects of website protection. "Bot protection is an emerging space and we believe (it) has a large global market potential," said Venkatesh Peddi, executive director, IDG Ventures India.

The startup offers businesses insights on bot traffic and eliminates unwanted or suspicious behaviour in real-time, using machine-learning and big data technology. Its SaaS solution offers a range of services, including scraping, bot abuse, fake traffic fraud, content theft, form spam and other online frauds caused by bots.
