Active.Ai raises over $8 million in Series-A round
MUMBAI: Singapore-based fintech platform Active-.Ai has raised $8.25 million in a series-A round, which was led by Vertex Ventures, Creditease Holdings and Dream Incubator. Existing investors Kalaari Capital and IDG Ventures also participated.

Following the funding, Ben Mathias, managing partner at Vertex Ventures, and Vani Kola, MD at Kalaari Capital, will join Sanat Rao from IDG Ventures India on the board of Active.Ai. Anju Patwardhan from Creditease will join as a board observer. Active Intelligence, which runs the Active.Ai platform, has an innovation lab in Bengaluru.

Its proprietary AI engine Triniti enables financial firms to have a meaningful engagement with customers in an intuitive format over messaging, voice and IoT devices.
