Glowship gets funding from IIM-A's Infuse Ventures
MUMBAI: Infuse Ventures, a sustainability and clean technology fund backed by IIM Ahmedabad's ( IIM-A) technology business incubator Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, has invested in Glowship, a marketplace for energy and environment-related products and services.

Founded by Srinivas Potukuchi, an alumnus of IIT Madras and Stanford Graduate School of Business, the marketplace went live this year. Glowship will use the funds to expand its team, build out the technology platform and expand into other geographies.

"A residential homeowner has multiple needs ranging from heating, pumping, back-up power, home automation, energy management and potentially even energy generation, given the falling costs of solar energy. While there is a plethora of options available, there is friction in the current buying experience ," said Potukuchi, about the problem the marketplace is trying to address.
