Lucideus declared the best IT Startup by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship

NEW DELHI: Lucideus, an IT Risk Assessment and Digital Security Services provider, was declared the best IT Startup of India at the National Entrepreneurship Awards held on January 30, 2017 at the DRDO auditorium in New Delhi. The annual awards are organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

"At a time when our Honourable Prime Minister says that the Indian startups are going to be the key defining factor for the Indian Economy in the near future, and India being hailed as the IT Super Power of the world, it is of tremendous pride for us to be recognised as the Best IT Startup of India from the Government of India," said Lucideus cofounder and CEO, Saket Modi in a statement.

Lucideus was recognised under the IT (Information Technology) and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) category at the National Entrepreneurship Award 2016.

The award ceremony was presided over by the Home Minister of India, Sri Rajnath Singh along with the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Sri Rajiv Pratap Rudy. It was attended by other Cabinet Ministers, prominent entrepreneurs, senior government officials, industry mentors, incubators and academia from across the country.
