Legal tech startup Lawyered.in announces ‘Startup Board Meet 2017’

NEW DELHI: The last year left many startups reeling with low funding availability while investors focused on maximum returns. With almost 50% less funding received by Indian startups in 2016 compared to the previous year, many startups are waking up to challenge of creating value than concentrating on valuations.

With an aim to help startups learn and understand the measures required to build a ‘valuable’ company, Lawyered.in, a legaltech company, which helps people find and book appointments with lawyers for all legal services, is organising ‘Startup Board Meet 2017’. The event will be held at the Indian Habitat Centre on January 21 and will see participation from some of the best minds in the startup ecosystem.

The event will host founders like Abhiraj Bahl ( UrbanClap), Ankur Warikoo ( Nearbuy) and Ritesh Malik ( Innov8) who will discuss and advise on challenges faced by earlys-stage startups.

To bring in investor insight, Startup Board Meet has invited prominent venture capitalists like Arpit Agarwal from Blume Ventures, Shuvi Shrivastav from Lightspeed Venture Capital and Abhishek Agarwal from OperatorVC to discuss value creation by startups. The investors will also shed light on the growth areas predicted to attract funding in the coming years.

The legal tech startup has also reserved a session for lawyers like Neeraj Dubey and Anil Advani, who are closely associated with Indian startup ecosystem to discuss legal aspects of growing a business in the country.
