CureMeAbroad, a medical tourism startup has reported 4.4X growth in revenue across Q1 and Q2, accompanied by a 17% improvement in margins, as the company achieves operational profitability and sets its next milestone at becoming cash-flow positive.

The company has grown from booking treatments valuing $600,000 in Q1 to $785,000 in Q2. The company is now focused on scaling its operations while maintaining improving unit economics and expanding its international presence.

Founded by cofounders Aditya Oza and Mikhail Bohra, CureMeAbroad connects patients from markets including the US, UK, Germany, Australia and the GCC with hospitals and healthcare providers across Turkey, Thailand, Mexico, Georgia, India and other medical tourism destinations. Its network has expanded to 400+ hospital partners.

The company operates on an end to end service model, generating revenue through commissions and markups from hospital partners. Its technology stack uses AI across multiple stages of the patient journey, including Discovery, treatment cost estimation, planning, enquiry management and first-response support through WhatsApp and voice, helping streamline patient acquisition, qualification and coordination.

Cosmetic and reconstructive procedures currently account for a significant share of the company's business, with post-pregnancy “mommy makeover” procedures contributing approximately 60% of revenue. Going forward, CureMeAbroad plans to diversify its treatment mix into orthopaedics and dental care, while expanding its reach across international source markets.

Aditya Oza, Co-founder and CEO, CureMeAbroad, said in a statement, “Growing revenue 4.4X is encouraging, but the more important signal for us is that margins are improving as we scale. We built CureMeAbroad with operational discipline at the core, and achieving operational profitability is an important milestone for the business. Our next focus is to become cash-flow positive while continuing to expand our treatment portfolio, hospital network and international presence.”
