KARVY STOCK BROKING SETTLES CASE WITH SEBI
Karvy Stock Broking today settled a probe by Sebi into alleged non-compliance with various requirements, including the Know Your Client (KYC) due diligence. Sebi agreed to settle proposed adjudication proceedings in the case after it was approached by Karvy with a plea under the settlement regulations and paid Rs 6.8 lakh towards settlement charges.
Nifty has broken the resistance of 10,000 and Bank Nifty has broken the resistance of 24,500 and after this breakout you can at least set the target of around 10,137 on Nifty and Bank Nifty you can set the target of around 25,100

The IPO of online marriage portal Matrimony.com got subscribed 67 per cent on the first day of the three day bidding on Monday. The issue received bids for 18,78,510 shares against the total issue size of 28,11,280 shares.

Nifty50 index surpassed its immediate hurdle of 9980 zone and headed towards 10028 levels. It registered the highest daily close in last 23 trading sessions and managed to close above psychological 10000 mark. It formed a bullish candle on the daily chart and supports are gradually shifting higher. Now it has to continue to hold above 9980 zone to witness an up move towards 10050 then 10080 levels while on the downside supports are seen at 9928 then 9880 levels.
The Nifty50 reclaimed the 10,000 mark on a closing basis on Monday, for the first time since August 7, 2017. In the process, the index formed a bullish candle on the daily chart.

HSBC DOWNGRADES EICHER MOTORS, BUT RAISES TARGET PRICE
Global financial services firm HSBC downgraded Eicher Motors to ‘Hold’ citing growth may moderate to high-to-mid teen levels in the coming quarters amid challenging premium valuations. However, HSBC raised Eicher Motors target price to Rs 35,000 from Rs 30,500 earlier.

JYOTI STRUCTURES HITS 5% UPPER CIRCUIT
Shares of Jyoti Structures were locked at 5 per cent upper circuit limit in Monday's trade amid reports that Shapoorji Pallonji group and SSG Capital may jointly bid for power transmission tower maker. A media report suggested that KEC International and Kalpataru Power Transmission are also expected to pitch for majority stake in the company. Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals gained as much as 1.60 per cent in early trade after the company announced that it has fixed September 30, 2017 as the record date for the purpose of issuance of 1:2 bonus issue. The scrip was trading 1.33 per cent up at Rs 129.50 around 9.40 am (IST). Shares of the company opened at Rs 129.50 and touched a high and low Rs 129.85 and Rs 128, respectively, in trade so far.

AUTO SHARES ADVANCE POST GST COUNCIL MEET
Shares of auto companies were trading higher in early trade as domestic car companies sounded relieved after the GST Council on Saturday raised the vehicle cess by less than the maximum possible, although luxury automakers were more circumspect in their assessment of the new rates. The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.62 per cent up at 10845.60. Tata Motors DVR was up 1.24 per cent, followed by Mahindra & Mahindra (up 0.86 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki (up 0.72 per cent).
The bidding process for the initial public offering (IPO) of Matrimony.com, which owned online match making portal BharatMatrimony, kicked off on Monday. The company expects to raise Rs 500 crore by selling shares in Rs 983-985 price band.

Shares of Bharat Financial Inclusion (erstwhile SKS Microfinance) and IndusInd Bank rose 2 per cent each on Monday after the lenders entered into an exclusivity contract with for a possible merger, ET Now reported. Following the report, shares of Bharat Financial Inclusion rose 2.13 per cent to hit a high of Rs 955.95 on BSE. Shares of IndusInd Bank advanced 1.57 per cent to Rs 1723.20.

MATRIMONEY.COM IPO TO KICK OFF TODAY
Matrimony.com, which runs online match making business under the BharatMatrimony brand, will launch its initial public offer on September 11 and has fixed a price band of Rs 983-985 to raise over Rs 500 crore. P-NOTE INFLOWS AT 5-YEAR LOW
Investments in the domestic capital market through participatory notes (P-notes) slumped to a five year low of Rs 1.35 lakh crore in Julyend amid stringent norms put in place by Sebi.The total value of P-notes investments in Indian markets -equity , debt and derivatives -declined to `1,35,297 crore at July-end from `1,65,241 crore at the end of June, according to Sebi data.

IRAN TO RAISE CRUDE OUTPUT
Iran will reach an oil production rate of 4.5 million barrels per day (bpd) within five years, Ali Kardor, the MD of the National Iranian Oil Company, said Sunday. Iran has been producing around 3.8 million bpd in recent months.

ASIAN SHARES GAIN ON MONDAY
Asian stocks gained on Monday as North Korea did not test fire nuclear missile this weekend. Pyongyang though held a massive celebration to congratulate the nuclear scientists and technicians who steered the country's sixth and largest nuclear test a week ago.
