The index did not breach Thursday’s low of 10,125, which
suggested that the index has a strong support near the 10,100 level. Keep your stop loss
below 10,100. After some consolidation, the Nifty50 can break out above the
10,250 level. If it breaks that level, then it can soon test the 10,350 or
10,400 levels. It’s a buy-on-dips market. Any decline would be great buying opportunity
with a stop loss of 10,100

Emergence of buying around the
support level of 10,120 can itself be considered a positive for the time being.
But the strength on the index shall be confirmed only when it closes above the
10,251 level. In that scenario, the momentum push for the Nifty50 will
initially be towards the 10,400 level
Most
of the losses from Thursday have been recouped on the back of
continued domestic liquidity and positive cues from the global indices. We
remain expensive compared to our Asian peers, at this juncture even though we
remain bullish in long term. We would not like to recommend entering long
positions in the short term. We advocate a wait and watch approach at this
point

NPA worries continued to cloud markets upside prospects, firm global peers as well as centre's plan to infuse new funds to PSU banks supported the banking stocks and gave impetus to the indices later in the afternoon, while also signs of price rationalisation lifted telecom stocks
We have Infosys and HDFC Bank on our radar for tomorrow’s trade.
Bank Nifty has seen a significant correction after Axis Bank’s results and we
believe that the negative news around other private banks, which are yet to
declare results, is priced in. Good showing from HDFC Bank will help Bank Nifty
recover major portion of its losses from last week

Market regained after a weak start due
to expectation of earnings growth and positive global growth. Telecom sector
outperformed on value buying in expectation of normalization of tariffs,
consolidation in the industry, and better outlook on data usage

Sensex climbs 117 pts, Nifty ends a tad below 10,200; Bharti Airtel, RIL rally up to 5%.
