Word of harmony

Five elements of Nature - fire, earth, water, air and space - are mutually inimical while they sustain this firmament. For example, earth exists in waters and yet does not sink; water, fire and air maintain their balance on the planet and sky does not fall on earth and yet stands above it without any support.

In this creation - earth, water, fire, air and space work for their sustenance of all animate and inanimate beings, despite apparent hostility. Mortal frames of humans and other living beings are compounded oneness of these five incongruous entities.

It is said that at the time of Grand Dissolution of this universe, water of oceans dissolve earth, fire evaporates the water, air sucks fire and space swallows all in the air and what remains is unimagined fogginess. Why elements operate in harmony per se prior to Dissolution?
