True needs, true bhuktis

Diving one's true needs and focusing on these is the art of savouring these, which verily is true bhukti!

True needs, true bhuktis
It was rightly noted that many persons don't know what they really need and are prepared to go through hell to get it!

Indeed, various problemsare caused on account of the fact that greed takes predominance over need. Those who identify this tendency within themselves and thus fulfil just their needs well are those who truly enjoy themselves.

In short, the crux lies in knowing the 'truth' of matters concerning oneself. And, this happy outcome comes about when peace, realisation and relaxation take over anxieties, doubts and the consequently generated needless desires. Yes, the key is that true 'relaxation' of the body, mind and spirit, which is the sine qua non to realisation of 'truth' about one's true needs.

Food is a typical example, which illustrates the above point. It is common knowledge that when you are disturbed, angry or depressed, unregulated eating is resorted to as escapism, or as a mad diversion to 'tranquilise' the mind.

Regulated living, healthy lifestyle and being in 'control' with one's world and issues around not only ensure right eating, depending on one's needs, but also true fulfilment and satisfaction. In consequence, one never overeats or eats at the wrong time or the wrong food.

As observed by James Allen, when the mind is pure, oneno longer desires for needless food. The observation of Bhagavad Gita in its various verses [III-13; VI-16, 17; XVII-7 to 10], are also of immense relevance in this regard.
