Set free by truth
It is common observation that certain persons havean intuitive instinct to take right decisions at the right time. On the contrary, certain others continually commit blunders and mistakes, sometimes one accentuating the other!

The difference between the two groups of persons, as above, is that the first group comprises those who have 'discovered' the 'truth', concerning each aspect, as applicable to each of them: 'truth' of matters.

Discovering and divining this truth, each knows what is right in the manner each issue applies to his own person: be it with regard to financial matters, investments, relationships, social commitments, food, planning events, etc. There would, then, have to be no regrets or going back. This also is the process of being enlightened even before the event, as contrasted to becoming wise after it!

This uncanny ability is through a natural intuitive capacity within us all in the form of vigyamanaya kosha. The supreme and effulgent knowledge, which leads one on to this is referred to in Bhagawad Gita (IV: 19 and 37) as gnanagni, which, as the epic notes, also has the power to make up for and neutralise the impacts of even past ill-considered or wrong actions. This, also, is the Jain concept of annihilating the effect of one's past bad karma through one's present good karma.

This, verily, is yoga: defined in three separate contexts in Gita as skill in action, consistency and freedom from problems. The basis for attaining this state is knowledge of truth, which, finally, as Jesus Christ observed, sets one free!
