Relaxed Perception
‘Evaluate Rightly’ , as an objective , it would be clear, can be accomplished by “knowing the truth” , which will “set you free” (as pointed out by the Bible ) of imperfections and wrong decisions.

We also know that this jewel of ‘truth’ is realised if only we can be “free of tension” , as noted by Swami Satyananda. Two questions now arise: (a) What is this state of being “free of tension” ? (2) How to know if one has actually arrived at this state? Answers to both questions lie in understanding the mechanics and the methodology involved in reaching this sublime state.

Releasing oneself of the rigidity in the physical body (annamaya kosha) is under one’s direct control and is through simple relaxation techniques of ‘letting go’ and ‘reeling out’ . Easiness and gentleness in the breathing process (pranamaya kosha) follows, as if with every exhalation, the deep lying stresses and trauma are vented out and with every inhalation, the joy, peace and goodness, which abound all over, are taken into the ‘space’ now made available.

In this state, one feels clarity taking root in the mind too (manonmaya kosha), with the body-mind mechanism being in harmony with nature. Intuitive powers to sift the right from the wrong (vignyanamaya kosha) naturally follow, through divine promptings.
This will “set you free” to realise that blissful state of ‘truth’ (satyaloka/anandamaya kosha) of being right and also knowing that you are right. This, and indeed this, is the Gita’s concept (6,23) of dissociation from all suffering and wrongs — the art of action!
