Life of Flips
The shadow of opposites accompanies one the moment the soul wears robes of mind and body. The process of life expanding into the zone of death is termed 'living'.

All 'meetings' end with 'separation', though this imminent divide remains invisible. 'Wealth, beauty or power', generally perceived as instruments of pleasure, carry collateral 'fear of loss'. Poverty and loneliness are excruciating experiences, yet catalytic for working hard in life for attaining satisfying achievements for the Self. Love and hate run parallel. Often, worldly love is the mind's infatuated possessiveness that mutates in hate/dislike (negative love) as perceptions of lover and beloved alter with time. Contraries are inherent in our socio-psychological canvas too. Lord Krishna and the Kauravas, and Lord Ram and Ravan are mythological references to concurrent existence of Good and Evil.
The mind is a 'demand machine' and expects all demands to be 'supplied'. It fails to fathom consequential outcome of 'opposites' of this demand-supply relationship. In introspective awakening, the Self realises that body/mind are contaminated energies of Maya (Divinity + Matter) and that opposites are merely inert inertia in transition for understanding Non-Reality. This may translate into voluntary detachment from transient matter. This also cajoles humans to explore the Realm of Truth bereft of opposites.
