Bhukti and Healing
Most are not born with silver spoons in their mouths. They have to wade through the inevitable hazards of life and the processes involved in making a living.

Obtaining a ‘clean slate’, ‘not pursuing the past’ and healing oneself, whereby all experiences gone by serve finally as ‘antibodies’ to fortify the spirit even further — these have been the objectives of various modern and ancient techniques.
One such centres on Sage Patanjali’s injunction (Sutra: II,33) to cultivate contrary thoughts when the mind is afflicted by damaging thought patterns. An extension of this concept is exposure to any involvement that would bring true joy and delight to the concerned person for neutralising the stresses and scars within.
One approach that could work for many is absorbing the thrill of rapturous delight that resides in true, right and genuine worldly and even sensuous enjoyment ( bhukti), which could, as if in a jiffy, ease the spirit by making up for the withholds, scars, feelings of deprivation, regrets, resentments and hurts over past deprivations or having been subject to ‘most unkindest’ forms of ingratitude and unfair acts.
This release would commence that true freedom or liberation ( mukti), wherein lies all that is good and gracious. This, indeed, is that cleansing and healing touch that such bhukti can impart to the hurt, yet aspiring soul!
