We search for happiness in the outside world, while real happiness lies within us. In deep sleep, we experience happiness even without objects, showing that happiness comes from within us. However, when we are awake, the mind creates the illusion that worldly objects and pleasures give us joy. As a result, we chase pleasure endlessly - which is like running after a mirage in the desert, hoping to find water where none exists.
The greatest realisation in life is understanding that happiness does not lie in objects, but in our attitude towards life, in the sense of fullness we bring to our actions. The workplace and life itself should be viewed as a school for learning and growth. Many people fail to learn from problems. True growth comes when we take responsibility for our lives. The art of growing up lies in continually learning from life and accepting responsibility for our well-being.
