Most valuable relationship
We are all related to the supreme Lord Krishna, the controller of the universe. This connection grants us a special identity, which we should acknowledge and cherish. The practice of Bhakti Yog, starting with chanting holy names, helps revive this...
In Gita, Krishn reveals an important piece of information. He tells us that every living entity is related to him. In other words, we are all part of Vasudev. We are related to the supreme Lord.
So, we are not ordinary people. We are all related to the controller of the universe, Krishn. We should take pride in this and try to revive and experience that relationship. The process of Bhakti Yog, which begins with chanting the holy names of the Lord through naam japa, helps us revive and experience this relationship.
When he speaks to Arjun in the Mahabharat, Krishn says, 'Janma karma ca me divyam evam yo vetti tattvatah' - you should know about my birth, about my activities; they are divyam, transcendental. They are not mundane.
Tattvatah vetti means one who knows this in truth. Krishn says, 'If you know the truth about me, when you give up this body, you will not take birth again. You will attain me. You will come to me.'
