If we consciously and collectively make an effort to develop Dharma Bhavna, there will be more harmony in the world. In the context of yog, 'dharma' is an 'attitude' to live by. Dharma Bhavna is about living a life of integrity, morality and service, guided by the principles of dharma. What does this look like in practice?

We can practise non-violence by avoiding harming others, whether physically or emotionally. We can support causes that promote non-violence, such as peaceful conflict resolution and animal rights.

Speak the truth by making an effort to always be honest, even when it may be difficult or uncomfortable. We can avoid spreading rumours or gossip and strive to be truthful in our interactions.

We can show compassion by being kind, especially to the marginalised or suffering. We can also support charitable causes and volunteer our time for the needy.

We can practice self-control by regulating our thoughts, emotions and actions, particularly when tempted to act impulsively. We can also practice mindfulness.

Purity can be cultivated by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our physical surroundings and in our own bodies, and leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
